Tim Marin -- Bass and Vocals

Tim Marin
Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Tim Marin has been
involved in music since the age of 8, when he took up the clarinet in
the grade school band. Over the years, he has also gained proficiency
at saxophone, cello, guitar, bass, drums, and mandolin. Taking
interests in multiple forms of music ranging from jazz to classical to
spiritual to heavy metal, Tim has performed locally with several bands
on multiple instruments over the last ten years and acted as a
bandleader, arranger, and composer. He has recorded three CD’s of
original material and holds composition copyrights on over 60 songs. In
his spare time, he works as a professor of chemistry and physics at
Benedictine University in Lisle, performs government research through
the U.S. Department of Energy with Argonne National Laboratory and the
University of Notre Dame Radiation Laboratory, and works as a Catholic
youth music minister.
